Everything you get in this series

Book 01

The Finance Operator's Excel

Ten chapters from workbook architecture to valuation, audit and handover — with a file built at the end of every one. Indian FY, GST and banking context throughout.

  • The lookup engine — retire VLOOKUP for good
  • A three-statement model that balances itself
  • DCF, WACC and sensitivity grids you can defend
  • A one-page audit checklist for every file you send
Book 02

Growth Accelerator Excel

The companion volume — Excel for the growth and data side: Power Query cleanup, mapping tables, dashboards, cohorts and RFM segmentation that scale with you, not against you.

  • Raw → Clean → Model → Dashboard, done properly
  • Combo charts, cohort analysis, RFM segmentation
  • Mapping tables and key normalisation that don't break
  • The same build-it-yourself format as Book 01
// the problem

Your file works — until somebody else opens it.

⚠ #REF! by month three

Somebody inserts a row, the SUM range silently excludes it, and the gap surfaces in an auditor's review instead of yours.

Fixed in → Book 01, Chapter 1
⚠ Balance sheet won't tally

P&L, balance sheet and cash flow all disagree, so the difference gets plugged and nobody asks the question out loud.

Fixed in → Book 01, Chapter 8
⚠ Dashboard rebuilt every month

The report only exists because you rebuild it by hand each month — no refresh button, no clean data layer underneath.

Fixed in → Book 02, Chapters 1–4
// inside book 01

Ten chapters. Each ends in a file you actually built.

By Chapter 10 you're auditing the model you started in Chapter 1. Book 02 follows the same build-it-yourself structure for growth and dashboard work.

Operators who stopped fighting their spreadsheets

Rated by readers across finance, ops and founder roles
★★★★★

The three-layer build alone was worth it. I rebuilt our monthly MIS the way Chapter 1 lays it out, and last month my CFO changed one assumption cell and got the whole revised forecast himself. No calls to me.

I've been doing GST reconciliations for six years and still learnt things here. The cleaning layer in Chapter 4 turned a two-hour monthly job into about fifteen minutes, because it re-runs on one paste.

Book 02 is what I actually needed. Our sales dashboard used to be rebuilt by hand every Monday. Now it refreshes in one click, and the RFM segmentation showed us which customers were quietly worth chasing.

The loan amortisation chapter is the clearest explanation of flat vs reducing I have read anywhere. I used the comparison sheet in a client meeting and it settled a rate argument in five minutes.

The 13-week cash forecast changed how we run the business. We spotted a limit breach nine weeks out and arranged funding calmly instead of scrambling. That one file paid for the books many times over.

Frequently asked

Do I need to already know Excel?

No. Book 01 starts from workbook architecture and colour coding — it assumes you can open Excel and type, nothing more. By Chapter 6 you're building loan schedules; by Chapter 10 you're auditing a full model.

Is this useful if I'm not in a finance role?

Yes. Book 02 is built for the growth, marketing and ops side — dashboards, cohorts and customer segmentation. Founders, analysts and ops leads get more out of the series than anyone.

What's the difference between soft copy and hard copy?

Identical content. The soft copy gives you instant online access to both books on our server — you read them in your browser on any device, and there is nothing to download. The hard copy is the printed edition shipped free across India, and online access is included with it at no extra cost.

Which Excel version do I need?

Excel 2019, 2021 or Microsoft 365. Wherever a technique needs a 365-only feature such as dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP or LAMBDA, the legacy alternative is given alongside it.

How soon do I get access after paying?

The soft copy is instant. Your access link reaches your email within a couple of minutes of payment, and you can start reading both books straight away in your browser — on a laptop, tablet or phone.

How long does the hard copy take to arrive?

Printed books are dispatched within 1–2 working days and reach you in roughly 7–8 working days anywhere in India, depending on your pincode. Your online access is activated immediately on payment, so you can begin reading the same day while the print copy is on its way.

Two books. One Excel system.

20 chapters. 150+ techniques. 20+ real files. Starting at ₹299 for the complete series.
